AutoCAD Engineer / Bim Modeller

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Engineer / BIM Modeller to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This role involves developing accurate 2D and 3D models for ELV systems (AV, BGM, CCTV, ACS, ICT & Intercom) and supporting project teams through precise drafting, coordination, and technical documentation.

Experience: 2–5 years of professional experience in AutoCAD and BIM modelling (optional) in AV, CCTV, ACS , BGM – ELV systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • 2D and 3D Modeling (AV, BGM, CCTV, ACS, ICT & Intercom):
    • Develop and prepare precise 2D drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, Revit, and related software.
    • Create detailed layouts, plans, sections, and elevations based on project requirements.
  • BIM Coordination (optional):
    • Assist in the creation, maintenance, and coordination of Building Information Models (BIM) throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure models align with design and technical requirements.
  • Documentation and Standards (Optional):
    • Ensure all drawings and models adhere to company and industry standards (e.g., BIM Execution Plan, ISO, or project-specific protocols).
  • Technical Support:
    • Provide technical support to team members and clients regarding AutoCAD/BIM-related issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve software or modeling-related challenges.
  • Project Collaboration:
    • Work closely with design, engineering, and project management teams to meet project timelines and objectives.
    • Attend coordination meetings and contribute to design discussions.

 

Soft Skills Required:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (ELV systems), Revit, and other CAD/BIM software
  • Familiarity with BIM standards, workflows, and clash detection tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience in working on multidisciplinary engineering or construction projects is a plus.

 

Education & Certifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
