ICT Engineer

Experience: 3–6 years of experience in ICT/networking projects.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced ICT Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-level ICT infrastructure across a variety of projects. This position requires strong technical expertise in networking, structured cabling, and communication systems, along with the ability to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. The candidate should be capable of working in a fast-paced project environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement ICT systems including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, structured cabling, and IP telephony.
• Develop network architecture, topology diagrams, and system layouts.
• Configure and manage switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Conduct site surveys, assessments, and technical evaluations.
• Prepare BOQs, technical submittals, and method statements.
• Perform system testing, commissioning, and performance tuning.
• Ensure network security through implementation of best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues efficiently.
• Coordinate with ELV and AV teams for system integration.
• Support project execution, documentation, and client handover.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and international standards.

 

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Experience with structured cabling systems (copper & fiber).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

 

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet solutions.
• Knowledge of network monitoring tools.
• GCC project experience is a plus.

 

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• CCNA / CCNP certification (optional).

 

Languages:

• Fluent Arabic & English (Mandatory)
