Senior AV Technician

Experience: 3–6 years of experience in AV system installation and integration.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior AV Technician to handle installation, configuration, and commissioning of advanced Audio Visual (AV) systems. The candidate will ensure seamless integration of AV solutions for corporate, commercial, and hospitality projects. This role requires strong technical expertise in AV equipment, system integration, and troubleshooting, along with the ability to lead on-site teams and interact with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and commission AV systems including:
  • Video Conferencing Systems.
  • LED Screens & Video Walls.
  • Projectors & Display Systems.
  • Audio Systems (Speakers, Amplifiers, DSPs).
  • Control Systems (Crestron, Extron, AMX).
  • Digital Signage Solutions.
  • Intercom Systems & SMATV/IPTV.
• Perform rack installation, cable management, and system wiring.
• Interpret AV schematics, signal flow diagrams, and shop drawings.
• Conduct system testing, calibration, and optimization.
• Troubleshoot AV system issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Lead and supervise AV technicians during installations.
• Coordinate with engineers, clients, and other contractors.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications and AV standards.
• Provide end-user training and system demonstrations.
• Maintain documentation including test reports and as-built drawings.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of AV equipment.

 

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of AV technologies, signal flow, and system design.
• Hands-on experience with AV control systems (Crestron, Extron, and AMX).
• Familiarity with networking basics for AV-over-IP systems.
• Ability to read and interpret AV drawings and diagrams.
• Experience in corporate, hospitality, or large venue AV projects preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a team.

 

Education and Certifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Audio Engineering, or related field.
• AVIXA CTS (Certified Technology Specialist).
• Crestron / Extron / AMX Certifications.
• Dante Certification (Audio Networking).
• Q-SYS Certification (QSC).
• Manufacturer-specific AV certifications.

 

Languages:

• Fluent Arabic & English (Mandatory).
