AV Engineer
Experience: Minimum 5-6 years
The AV Engineer is responsible for the design, setup, and configuration of complex audiovisual systems, ensuring optimal system performance. They collaborate with clients and project teams to install, commission, and troubleshoot AV solutions in various environments such as meeting rooms, boardrooms, auditoriums, and event halls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and integrate AV systems including displays, projectors, audio systems, video conferencing, and control systems.
- Configure and program AV devices like DSPs, video processors, control systems (e.g., Crestron, AMX), and video conferencing systems (e.g., Zoom, Cisco, MS Teams).
- Conduct site surveys and develop AV system designs based on client needs and room environments.
- Supervise the installation of AV systems, ensuring all wiring, configuration, and component placement follow industry standards.
- Lead the commissioning process by testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting AV systems to ensure they meet project specifications.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide training on AV system operations.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers for technical support, product specifications, and troubleshooting.
- Create system documentation, including wiring diagrams, device configurations, and user manuals.
- Provide post-installation support, maintenance, and upgrades for AV systems.

- Experience with DSP programming (Q-SYS, Biamp, etc.) and video conferencing platforms (Cisco, Zoom, Teams).
- Strong knowledge of AV signal flow, networking, and IT infrastructure.
- Certification such as CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I is highly desirable.
