BIM-CAD Engineer – IT / ELV / AV Systems

Experience: 3–6 years of experience in BIM/CAD for IT, ELV, or AV systems.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented BIM-CAD Engineer to support the design, modeling, and documentation of IT, ELV, and AV systems. The candidate will be responsible for developing accurate 2D drawings and 3D BIM models, ensuring coordination with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. This role is critical in delivering clash-free designs, precise shop drawings, and coordinated BIM models aligned with project requirements and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain BIM models for IT, ELV, and AV systems using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with MEP, architectural, and structural teams to resolve clashes.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards and client requirements.
• Assist in design development, system layouts, and equipment placement.
• Generate BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and material take-offs.
• Support project teams with technical drawings during execution.
• Maintain drawing revisions and documentation control.
• Participate in coordination meetings and design reviews.
• Ensure all drawings align with Saudi codes and industry standards.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in:
  • AutoCAD (2D drafting).
  • Revit (BIM modeling).
  • Navisworks (clash detection) would be advantage.
• Knowledge of ELV systems design (CCTV, access control, structured cabling, AV).
• Familiarity with BIM standards (LOD, IFC, coordination workflows).
• Experience in GCC/Saudi Arabia projects is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Education and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or related field).
• Autodesk Certified Professional (AutoCAD / Revit).
• BIM Professional Certification.
• Navisworks Certification-Optional.

Languages:

• Fluent Arabic & English (Mandatory).
