ICT Presales Engineer

Experience:
3 – 6 years of experience in ICT presales, system design, or solution architecture.

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled ICT Presales Engineer to support our sales team in designing and proposing advanced IT and network infrastructure solutions. The role focuses purely on ICT systems, including networking, data centers, cloud, and enterprise IT solutions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client ICT requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Design and propose ICT solutions including:
  • Enterprise Networking (LAN/WAN, Routing & Switching, Wireless).
  • Data Center Infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Virtualization).
  • Cloud Solutions (Public/Private/Hybrid – Azure, AWS).
  • Cybersecurity Solutions (Firewalls, Endpoint Security, VPNs).
  • Unified Communications & Collaboration (VoIP, IP Telephony, Microsoft Teams).
• Prepare technical proposals, BOQs, RFQs, and cost estimations.
• Conduct site assessments and technical meetings with clients.
• Deliver technical presentations, solution demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts (PoCs).
• Work closely with OEMs/vendors for solution design, compliance, and pricing.
• Review tender documents and ensure full technical compliance.
• Support bid submissions and documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest ICT technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking (routing, switching, wireless technologies).
• Solid understanding of data center technologies (virtualization, storage, backup solutions).
• Good understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals.
• Experience in preparing technical documentation and solution design.
• Experience in the GCC/Saudi market is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT environments and large-scale deployments.
• Strong coordination experience with global OEM vendors (Cisco, HPE, Dell, Microsoft, etc.).
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
• Ability to interpret RFP/RFQ/tender documents.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) – Optional.
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – Optional.
• BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) – Highly Preferred.

• Fluent in Arabic and English (mandatory).
