Presales Specialist – Network & Cybersecurity

We are seeking an experienced Presales Specialist with 5–7 years of proven expertise in network and cybersecurity solutions, who thrives in customer-facing roles and can bridge the gap between technical solutions and business needs. You will work closely with the sales team, customers, and technology partners to craft and position winning security solutions that drive business outcomes.

Experience: 5–7 years of experience in network and cybersecurity presales or consulting roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand their cybersecurity and networking challenges and propose appropriate technical solutions.
  • Drive business development by pitching new solutions, identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and expanding the cybersecurity portfolio.
  • Support sales teams on RFPs/RFIs, develop proposals, presentations, and solution architectures.
  • Conduct technical workshops, product demos, and proof of concepts (POCs).
  • Translate business requirements into customized solutions involving firewalls, endpoint protection, cloud security, zero trust, SD-WAN, and SOC services.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal product teams to stay updated with trends and technologies.
  • Provide pricing, licensing, and ROI inputs during the sales cycle.
  • Maintain strong client relationships for long-term value realization.
  • Perform competitive analysis and ensure solution differentiation.


Soft Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of security technologies such as firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Fortinet), endpoint protection, SIEM/SOAR, DLP, VPN, NAC, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR is a plus.
  • Knowledge of network fundamentals: routing, switching, TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc. Will be an added advantage

  • Business acumen and ability to align technical solutions with business goals
  • Self-driven and able to manage multiple client engagements
  • Confident in handling executive-level conversations
  • Strong documentation and proposal writing skills


Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, CISM, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSE, CCNP Security) are an advantage.
