Site Engineer (UAE National)
Experience: 0–3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar technical role.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented UAE National (Emirati) to join our team in Abu Dhabi as a Site Engineer. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 3 years of experience who are looking to develop their careers in IT support within a dynamic work environment.
L1 Site Engineer provides first-level technical support for:
- Office network connectivity
- Desktop/laptop issues
- Printers and peripherals
- Basic server and application access issues
Key Responsibilities:
End-User Support:
- Install and configure desktop computers, laptops, and software
- Troubleshoot Windows OS issues
- Fix email issues (Outlook / Office 365)
- Support printers, scanners, and peripherals
- Reset user passwords and accounts
Network Support (Basic):
- Check LAN connectivity issues
- Connect and test Ethernet cables and switches
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity
- Configure IP address, DNS, gateway
- Report network problems to L2/L3 engineers
Ticket Handling:
- Use ticketing systems like:
- ServiceNow
- Jira Service Management
- Zendesk
- Log, track, and close support tickets.
User & Access Support:
- Create or modify accounts in Active Directory
- Provide VPN access support
- Configure email and shared drives
