Site Engineer (UAE National)

Experience: 0–3 years of experience in IT support, desktop support, or a similar technical role.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented UAE National (Emirati) to join our team in Abu Dhabi as a Site Engineer. This entry-level opportunity is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 3 years of experience who are looking to develop their careers in IT support within a dynamic work environment.

L1 Site Engineer provides first-level technical support for:

  • Office network connectivity
  • Desktop/laptop issues
  • Printers and peripherals
  • Basic server and application access issues

 

Key Responsibilities:

End-User Support:

  • Install and configure desktop computers, laptops, and software
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS issues
  • Fix email issues (Outlook / Office 365)
  • Support printers, scanners, and peripherals
  • Reset user passwords and accounts

 

Network Support (Basic):

  • Check LAN connectivity issues
  • Connect and test Ethernet cables and switches
  • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Configure IP address, DNS, gateway
  • Report network problems to L2/L3 engineers

 

Ticket Handling:

  • Use ticketing systems like:
    • ServiceNow
    • Jira Service Management
    • Zendesk
  • Log, track, and close support tickets.

 

User & Access Support:

  • Create or modify accounts in Active Directory
  • Provide VPN access support
  • Configure email and shared drives
